has not been familiarised with some works of Rimsky-Korsakov until I have seen the production of ‘A Maiden Snow' for Work North look it in fact years. And a lot very it was also, whetting my win partorisca discover other operatic works for a composer.

It liked, and it would recommend to of any one looking for a Work, classical, to look to the east. After reading in wikipedia, a message for behind a history of a Golden Cockerel is quite deep....

Rimsky Korsakov HAS his way is not Puccini at all, his works have melodies of surprise, any adapted for film of epic but with all these oriental touches that do his works add, calm always agrees that more than Russia half is in Asia, & corresponds totally with his sense of art, mine, tsar jump, Day before navideña & this one east my preferred Rimsky works.. im New in Russian work after devouring all an existent classical & belcanto works of period advaliable record, has think that this was a next step to take . Any libretto here, but has been released before in a cappricio seals & a register is of 85; it takes east details to take more information in this register in a coverage...

Excellent value an introduction the Rimsky works. It was new to these works, as I can not comment in some actions on depths, but his all look well, and thinks some insiemi of ORIGINAL CD when issued for Philips was a lot has received. Quality of good register, any noises of phase really intrusive. Sakdo And An Invisible City of Kitezh is exceptional and well the value that takes partorisca know - no like this weighed like Wagner but musically more interesting that 19th century later Italian and French works.

A big drawback is a lack of texts and translations. These works are not popular, so that the texts are not easy to find, although you can take way to separate there using a Web. In this low prize does not expect the booklet, but the ROM of CD or link the PDFs would owe that it has been resupplied, like the record company already has some texts that has been resupplied with some original subjects. If calm really has to that have texts and of the translations could be better hunted down some insiemi of ORIGINAL CD.

This man Rimsky was the character. His music takes yours breathe was. I know that I am biased, but when it listen the todays like this called musiic is no more than rhymes of nursery with the need a iq of 3 partorisca the comprise.

A Legend of an Invisible City of Kitezh and of a maiden Fevroniya' (of 1905) is perhaps mine all-time work preferred, with some of one the majority of sublime music that Rimsky-Korsakov (or any one another composer) has not written never. I have had already one has deleted now 2 conjoint CD of a Bregenz Festival, directed for Vladimir Fedoseyev - and has loved a music so much, that has had to that take a Kirov version also.
